Ms. Levine

My name is Ms. Levine and I am a nerd and I love gross, disgusting things.

This is my 7th year teaching science at Stadium View School. I've been with Minneapolis Public Schools for over 20 years as a teacher leader and administrator and I'm looking forward to many more.

Learning for me has not stopped and I hope it never does:  I am addicted to learning.  I learn as much from the students as, I hope, they learn from me.  I find that the more I know, the more I don't know.

Questioning, reflecting and listening are tools and strategies I try to impart on the scholars in the classroom.

I believe  students are smarter than they think.  My job is to challenge and encourage them to ask questions, engage in dialogue and help them realize that what we're doing in the classroom is connected to their lives and their community.

Whether through reading, writing, talking or modeling, science literacy is my passion.
